The Bayside Rowing Club has tapped into a flood of community
curiosity and enthusiasm for our programs that deal with less
fortunate children. Since 1994, Bayside has achieved national
recognition for its work with at-risk youth.
In order to manage this flood of support, Bayside is implementing
several Councils and Committees to help themselves communicate
with the community.
Board of Governors acts as an advisory and policy development
body to the Board of Directors. This group of men and women
act as ambassadors and advocates for Bayside Rowing Club within
the community at large.
The following committees report to the Board of Directors
on issues directly related to Bayside's effectiveness and
value to the community. The chair of each committee sits on
the Board of Directors as ex-oficio members:
1) Parents Committee
2) Ecumenical Council (religious leaders)
3) Bayside Business Committee (local business men and women)
4) Principal & Teacher Committee
5) TRY Committee
6) Team Captain Committee
