Objectives
The objectives of the Friends of Bayside Rowing Club is to provide
financial support, facilities, training, and encouragement for youth
rowers to participate and compete in the sport of rowing free of prejudice.
The Friends of Bayside Rowing Club operate Adult Leagues in support
of youth outreach initiatives to further the communities of Toronto.
Membership
Membership in the Friends of Bayside Rowing Club, upon payment of
a registration fee, is open to any person or organization interested
in supporting, or pursuing the objectives of the Friends of Bayside
Rowing Club.
Business
The direction of the affairs of the Friends of Bayside Rowing Club
is conducted by its participants, who come together every year to
make decisions and discuss questions of interest in the Friends of
Bayside Rowing Club. The execution of the affairs of the Friends of
Bayside Rowing Club is be carried out by professional staff, or, representatives
elected from among the members.
Annual Membership
Meeting
An annual meeting of the members is held every year on a day in March
or April. Notice of the date and location of the meeting is sent to
all members at least one full calendar month in advance of such meetings. |
